Vertical Retirement Living Plans Filed for Toowong

Brisbane’s billion-dollar flood risk shaped plans for a luxury Toowong retirement block as it aims to rise higher and stay drier.
Fresh research has found that homes at risk of flooding are today worth an estimated $42.2 billion less than they would have been in the absence of flood risk.
In Queensland, according to the PropTrack Climate Council Property Value Flood Risk Report, homes in flood zones are worth $19 billion less.
