
The maturing build-to-rent sector has found its feet outside its heartland of Melbourne, moving meaningfully into other capital cities, and even north Queensland.
Colliers head of living Robert Papaleo is forecasting a shake-up in capital partners and platforms in the near term as capital follows migration moves.
“We’re starting to see that historic partnerships between capital and their local platforms may begin to shift, and we are certainly hearing different groups speaking with different parties, and that’s to be expected as this asset class matures, and no one’s hiding from that, which is great,” Papaleo said.
