Plans Filed for $44m Commercial Scheme at South Melbourne

A 15-storey commercial tower has been proposed for a mechanic’s workshop site at South Melbourne by a syndicate planning Australia’s tallest tower on the Gold Coast.
South Sturt Pty Ltd has filed an application with the City of Port Phillip for an office building with food and drink premises at 282-284 Sturt Street, on the corner of Eastern Road. The estimated construction cost has been listed at $44.2 million.
ASIC records list Anthony John Goss as sole director of South Sturt Pty Ltd. Goss also heads the Melbourne-based syndicate behind One Park Lane, a proposed $700-million twin-tower precinct at Southport.
