The Mall of the Emirates, the world’s first shopping resort, is located in Dubai at interchange four on Sheikh Zayed Road. The multi-level shopping centre currently features more than 560 international brands with a total gross leasable area (GLA) of 233,467 sqm including department stores, fashion, lifestyle, sports, electronics and home furnishing outlets and the largest Carrefour in the city.

SM City North EDSA is the first SM Supermall operated by SM Prime Holdings, which is the largest retail and mall operator in the Philippines. With a gross floor area of 424,691 square meters, SM City North Edsa is the largest shopping centre by gross leasable area in the Philippines, and the third largest in the world.
It is located at the intersection of North Avenue and Epifanio de los Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Quezon City, approximately a kilometer west of Quezon City Hall and 10 kilometres north of Makati City.
It features the SM Store, its major anchor, an SM Supermarket, a Hypermarket, a Foodcourt, a Skydome which is an Amphitheater for events with more than 1,200 seats, a 12-cinema complex, and much more! It offers over 3,700 parking slots and valet services on three strategic locations.

Completely abandoned and now known as a "ghost shopping centre," South China Mall was once the largest shopping centre in the world based on leasable space with a total area of 892,000 square metres (9,600,000 sq ft) of which approximately 659,612 square metres (7,100,000 sq ft).
The mall was built on former farmlands in the Wanjiang District of the city. The project was spearheaded by Hu Guirong who became a billionaire in the instant noodle industry.
Now abandoned, the featured seven zones reflecting international cities, nations and regions, including Amsterdam, Paris, Rome, Venice, Egypt, the Caribbean, and California and features include a 25-metre replica of the Arc de Triomphe, a replica of Venice's St Mark's bell tower, a 2.1-kilometre canal with gondolas, and a 553-metre (1,814 ft) indoor-outdoor roller coaster.
This mall has enough space to fit seven Yankee stadiums inside at more than 230,000 sqm. Since opening its doors in 1992, Mall of America has revolutionised the shopping experience and become a leader in retail, entertainment and attractions. Mall of America is one of the top tourist destinations in the country as well as one of the most recognizable brands.

The Złote Tarasy s a commercial, office, and entertainment complex in the center of Warsaw, Poland, located next to the Warszawa Centralna railway station between Jana Pawła II and Emilii Plater streets. It opened on 7 February 2007.
The architectural concept of Złote Tarasy was designed by The Jerde Partnership, for which the firm received the 2006 Architectural Review MIPIM Future Project Award in the Retail and Leisure category. The total area of the building amounts to 205,000 m². It includes 200 shops and restaurants (occupying 63,500 m²), a hotel, a multiplex cinema (8 screens, 2560 seats, opened on 31 August 2007 [1]) and an underground parking garage for 1,400 cars. A transparent roof covers its signature central indoor courtyard designed for concerts and similar events. The building cost $500 million.
