Salter Brothers wants to redevelop two hotels in Darling Harbour into a mixed-use precinct with 1000 apartments under a proposed 99-year lease of the site.
The plans for Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour and the Ibis Sydney Darling Harbour moved to stage 2 of the NSW Government’s Unsolicited Proposal process this week.
Place Management NSW owns the site with frontage on Darling Drive and Murray Street behind Mirvac’s Harbourside Shopping Centre redevelopment, which is due for completion in 2027.
