Peet Adds Affordable Apartments to St Clair Masterplan

Developer Peet is moving ahead with its substantial SA project, adding a four-storey apartment block to the mix.

The block at St Clair in Adelaide will comprise 20 one and two-bedroom apartments with each including a carparking space, and balconies or courtyards from the living area.

The Woodville Rd apartments would be 6-star energy rated and released in two stages with construction completion due in the second half of 2025, the developer said.

Peet said first-home buyers and downsizers looking for an affordable option in a prime location were the target market for the block at Woodville.

Apartments are priced from $407,000, below the suburb’s unit median of $425,000.

It is part of the wider development that will comprise 185 homes [apartments and terrace homes], and with more than 30 per cent of the site as open space.

It broke ground last year.

The precinct is about 8km north-west of the Adelaide CBD, 15 minutes to the coast and has direct access to Woodville Railway Station and is close to the St Clair Wetlands and Village Shopping Centre.

Peet chief executive Brendan Gore said well-located suburbs in Adelaide continued to grow in popularity, and “desirable apartments such as these will be key to meeting this demand”.

“The apartments are a reminder that high-density housing can be delivered at high quality, with plenty of open space and good transport links,” he said.
