Boutique property specialists JD Property Group has won planning approval for its next project at Byron Bay in New South Wales.
The developer has been cleared for a three-storey $100-million mixed-use project, Secret Garden, on the 2725sq m site at the corner of Jonson and Kingsley Streets.
It is the second project at Byron Bay by the developer after their initial precinct project Jonson Lane.
Secret Garden will comprise 22 apartments including luxury penthouse suites, with 10 retail and hospitality spaces on the ground floor.
There will also be green spaces, amenities and a concierge service for the residents.
Those amenities include a rooftop wellness centre with a magnesium pool, sauna, meditation space and spa and terraces for residents with barbecue areas and a teppanyaki grill.
Architects Bayley Ward designed the plans that incorporated sustainability with the entire project intended to be a fossil-fuel-free development.
The project offered residents the choice of 100 per cent renewable energy supply, JD Property Group managing director Jason Dunn said.

“From partners to products, we have aimed to work with our local community at every stage.”
Local interior curator Island Luxe and local landscape architect LARC also worked on the project.
