Arcare Greenlit for $60m Aged Care Facility in Melbourne’s East
Aged care developer and operator Arcare has won approval for its proposal at Mitchman, one of a wave of permit applications it has made this year.
The developer’s projects aim to address a “severe undersupply” of residential aged care facilities within Melbourne, according to its application to the Victorian Department of Transport and Planning.
Arcare’s latest project to be approved is a 133-bed proposal for 724-728 Whitehorse Road, also known as 8 Witt Street, at Mitcham, 21.5km east of the Melbourne CBD.
