Downsized Carlingford Plans Greenlit After LMR Zone Switch

A $102-million state-significant Capio project in Sydney’s north-west has won approval, clesring the way for a two-building scheme yielding 118 apartments.

The approved application caps a series of proposals for the Carlingford site since the initial parcel was acquired from Land and Housing NSW in September 2023. A withdrawn bid for two six-storey buildings, hosting 60 apartments, kicked things off in December of that year.

The most recent proposal for the DKO-designed Blossom project was itself altered through the submissions process, lowering the housing yield by 18 apartments.
