Luxe Commercial Plan Greenlit for Long-Vacant Windsor Site

An inner-Brisbane site left vacant for 20 years will be transformed into an “elegant” commercial development after plans were approved by the Brisbane City Council.

The Windsor site—a 1582sq m parcel at 163, 167 and 171 Lutwyche Road, 2.5km from Brisbane CBD—was previously a staging area for major historic infrastructure projects including the Airport Link M7 and the Northern Busway, which were completed in 2012.

LRP Developments has been greenlit to develop a two-storey commercial project “with enduring architectural merit” reflecting the heritage identity of the suburb that is home to some of Brisbane’s first brick buildings.
